Managed IT
Managed IT, integrated end-to-end.
Most MSPs sell you a service desk and a stack of vendor portals to log into. We sell you one operational surface — procurement, project management, IT assets, desktop and server management, backups, security posture, compliance evidence — all in one platform, under one identity, with one audit trail. Stop renting your IT operations from five vendors. Get them as one capability.
The problem
Most MSPs just give you more vendor portals to log into.
Your typical MSP delivers a service desk and bills you per seat. Behind the scenes they hand you off to a vendor stack: one portal for CSP licensing, another for security posture, a third for backup status, a fourth for vulnerability reporting, plus the password manager and the phishing simulator and the compliance evidence collector. Your team learns five logins, watches five dashboards, exports five reports, and the integration between them is whatever your MSP’s PSA can stitch together.
That isn’t IT management. That’s IT subscription aggregation — and you pay for every layer.
What you get instead
One platform. Every operational function integrated.
Conscierra’s Managed IT service runs on a single integrated platform. Your team logs in once and sees the whole operational picture for your business.
Procurement
Hardware, software licences, devices, vehicles, equipment — tracked through purchase, assignment, maintenance, and retirement in one register. Approvals route through the same identity layer that controls your service desk.
User & licence management
M365 user lifecycle, Entra ID groups, Microsoft licence assignment and reclamation, CSP licence reconciliation (Pax8 / Prism distributor APIs) against actual consumption. One workflow from joiner → role-change → leaver; no spreadsheet drift between IT inventory and finance.
Project management
IT projects (deployments, migrations, refreshes) run on the same platform as day-to-day operations. Time entries, milestones, document collection, client communications — all on one record.
Desktop / server / backups
Endpoint and server monitoring, patch status, backup verification, restore drills — surfaced on the same dashboard your service desk team works from. Your team sees what we see.
M365 backups
Third-party Microsoft 365 backup (Exchange / SharePoint / OneDrive / Teams) — independent of Microsoft retention. Microsoft’s native retention is not backup; this is. Restore-tested on a published cadence; backup status surfaced in the same dashboard.
Security posture
Microsoft 365 secure score, Microsoft Defender state, Microsoft Entra ID protection signals, vulnerability scans, compliance evidence — all rolled up per business unit, with trend tracking that doesn’t require a separate BI tool.
Service desk + client portal
Cases, time entries, SLA tracking, document access, online payments — your team and ours work from the same record.
Compliance evidence
Generated as a byproduct of normal operations, available on demand, audit-defensible by design.
The integration between them is the part most providers can’t deliver — and the part that matters most when something goes wrong at 2am and your team needs to see across the whole stack to resolve it.
The security framework
Our security framework replaces 3–4 separate SaaS products with one integrated module.
Most MSPs assemble their security service from third-party SaaS — typically a security posture reporter, a compliance evidence collector, a phishing simulator, a password manager dashboard, a vulnerability scanner. Each is a separate vendor, a separate per-seat licence, a separate dashboard, a separate data silo, and a separate audit-time export.
Our security framework is one module in our platform. It pulls from Microsoft 365 and Azure native security telemetry (Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel where in scope), reconciles with our CSP licensing module, integrates with our incident response workflow, generates compliance evidence aligned with ISO 27001 controls, and surfaces all of it through the same client portal your team already uses. No separate dashboards. No separate logins. No separate per-seat fees.
When the regulator asks for evidence, you don’t assemble it from five vendors — you export it from one module. When a control fails, you don’t get five alerts in five places — you get one ticket routed through the same workflow that handles every other operational issue.
This is what “security at an operational level” actually means: security as an integrated capability of the platform, not a stack of vendor subscriptions wrapped in your MSP’s brand.
Multi-entity / multi-tenant
Bill the way your business is actually structured.
Most MSP tools assume one M365 tenant per customer per bill — and conflate the three things that shouldn’t be conflated: the technical tenant structure, the legal billing entity, and the administrative scope. That works for simple businesses. It breaks for groups of companies, family offices, multi-brand operations, post-acquisition integrations, education networks, and any business that’s grown past one tenant.
Bill different entities from one M365 tenant
If your one tenant supports multiple legal entities, you can bill them separately — without splitting the tenant.
Bill one entity from multiple M365 tenants
If your single legal entity operates across multiple tenants (acquisitions, divisions, geographic separations), you get one consolidated bill — without consolidating the tenants.
Administer all child tenants from a single parent portal
If you’re a parent organisation managing subsidiaries’ M365 environments, you see and operate across every child tenant from one place — without losing the data isolation each subsidiary needs.
If your business has any of: holding structures, multiple business units, recent acquisitions, geographic separations, regulatory-driven tenant separation, or shared-services across subsidiaries — this is the capability that pays for the MSP relationship on its own.
Your productivity surface
A client portal your team actually uses.
Most MSP “client portals” are ticket viewers. Ours is the surface your team uses to manage your own IT operations day-to-day. Visibility into your fleet, your licences, your security posture, your projects, your backups, your team’s onboarding / offboarding workflows. Self-service for the things you’d normally email the service desk about. Approval workflows for procurement and access requests. Audit trail for everything the platform does on your behalf.
The portal doesn’t replace your relationship with our team. It makes the parts that don’t need a conversation faster — and gives your team visibility your previous MSP couldn’t.
The proof point
We run our MSP operations on the same platform.
The platform you’d be running your operational IT on is the same platform we run our own MSP business on. Same Microsoft-native stack. Same XCentral-Framework. Same modules. Same security framework. Same audit discipline. We don’t run on third-party PSA, third-party RMM, third-party CSP portals stitched together — we built the platform, we run the platform, and we control the platform.
This matters because: when something needs to be better, we make it better. We don’t lobby a vendor to ship a feature. The improvements that ship to our MSP service ship to yours too — through the framework’s release cadence, at no separate project cost.
Side by side
Typical MSP vs Conscierra MSP.
| Typical MSP (PSA-shop / RMM-shop) | Conscierra MSP |
|---|---|
| Service desk + a stack of vendor portals | One integrated operational platform |
| Per-seat fees flowing up to PSA / RMM / CSP / security / backup vendors | One retainer; Azure infrastructure at cost; no per-seat platform fees |
| Procurement tracked in a spreadsheet or a separate IT asset tool | Procurement module integrated with asset register, agreements, billing |
| Project management in Monday / Asana / Smartsheet separate from operations | Project module integrated with time entries, document collection, billing |
| Security posture in 3–4 separate vendor portals | One integrated security module — Microsoft-native, compliance-evidenced |
| Client portal is a ticket viewer | Client portal is your team’s day-to-day operational surface |
| Compliance evidence assembled at audit time from multiple vendors | Compliance evidence generated as a byproduct of normal operations |
| Cyber insurance questionnaire is a manual scramble each renewal | Cyber insurance evidence on demand — MFA, EDR, backup verification, patch SLA, security training: all surfaced from the platform without an audit project |
| M365 retention treated as backup (it isn’t) | Third-party M365 backup independent of Microsoft retention — restore-tested |
| User joiner / leaver workflow lives in IT inbox, separate from licence reconciliation | User & licence management is one workflow — Entra group + Microsoft licence + CSP billing reconciliation moves together |
| AI bolted on (vendor chatbot) | AI bound by Constitutional rules — drafts, suggests, classifies; humans approve mutations |
| One M365 tenant per customer per bill — multi-entity structures force workarounds | Bill different entities from one tenant, one entity from multiple tenants, or admin all child tenants from a parent portal |
| If you outgrow the MSP, you start over with another vendor stack | The platform we run is the platform we’d build for you — same MSP, custom platform under it |

AI augmentation
Document intelligence, communication drafting, platform chat, proactive alerts, classification & routing — bound by the framework’s Constitution.
Pricing posture
Transparent. Not per-seat-padded.
One monthly retainer covering the service. Azure infrastructure separate, at cost (via our CSP or your own subscription). The retainer is not padded with per-seat PSA / RMM / CSP-portal / security-vendor / backup-vendor fees — because we don’t pay those.
The retainer covers service delivery and ongoing platform improvements. The platform improvements flow to every Managed IT client. The framework’s release cadence keeps your service getting better without surprise project fees.
Compliance posture
Audit-defensible by design.
ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified at the corporate level. The framework that powers the Managed IT platform is aligned to ISO/IEC 42001 (AI management) and aligned with ISO 27701 / 20000-1 / 22301 — under active remediation as part of the broader compliance program. Audit-ready evidence available to clients on request.
Cyber insurance compliance
Renewal evidence on demand, not a renewal scramble.
Cyber insurance underwriters are tightening every renewal cycle. The questionnaires that used to ask “do you have MFA” now ask “what percentage of users have MFA enabled, what conditional-access policies enforce it, and when did you last verify a backup restore.” Answering those well moves your premium and your eligibility; answering them poorly can disqualify you entirely.
Our Managed IT service maintains a standing evidence pack for the controls underwriters care about — not a once-a-year audit project, but a continuous output of normal operation.
Multi-factor authentication coverage
Every user account in scope, with conditional-access policies enforcing MFA per Microsoft Entra ID. Coverage percentage available as a live metric.
EDR / Defender deployment
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployed and reporting; coverage and alert state surfaced in real time.
Backup + restore verification
Backup runs verified daily; restore drills run on a published cadence. Insurance underwriters increasingly require evidence of restore-tested backups, not just backup configuration.
Patch SLA tracking
Patch-status by severity (critical / high / medium / low) tracked against your stated SLA. Underwriter questionnaires ask "how fast do you patch critical vulnerabilities" — the answer is here, not a guess.
Security-awareness training records
Training completion tracked per user; campaign results from phishing simulations integrated. Auditable evidence of human-layer controls.
Incident response runbook + evidence
Documented incident response workflow per certified Security Incident Management Policy; incidents (when they occur) generate an audit trail underwriters can review.
When the renewal questionnaire arrives, you export the answers — you don’t reconstruct them.
